Lot Clearing in Fort Pierce, FL

Lot Clearing · Fort Pierce, FL

From Eyesore Lot to Real Estate Again

Lot clearing around Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, Vero Beach and across the Treasure Coast is its own kind of job. This part of Florida was platted into tens of thousands of quarter-acre and half-acre lots, and a huge share of them sit vacant — growing palmetto, Brazilian pepper and vine until the neighbors complain, the city writes a violation letter, or a buyer wants to see what they are actually buying. We clear those lots corner to corner: the growth ground into mulch in place, keeper trees left standing, the ground open and walkable the same day.

A platted lot rarely needs an excavation crew — it needs the vegetation gone, and that is exactly what a tracked skid steer with a mulching head does faster and cheaper than any other method. No burn pile smoking next to somebody's fence, no convoy of dump trucks down a residential street. Bigger acreage and heavier plans live on our land clearing page; this one is for the lot.

What We Handle

  • Whole-lot cleanup to open, walkable ground
  • Pre-sale and pre-listing lot clearing
  • Pre-construction clearing so crews can survey
  • Perimeter and easement cutbacks
  • Brush and trees to ~5" mulched in place
  • Keeper oaks and palms flagged and saved
  • Out-of-town owners handled by phone and photos
  • Free estimate from the lot address

The Lot You Stopped Looking At

Most vacant lots around the Treasure Coast were bought with a plan — build someday, sell someday, hold it for the kids. Then Florida did what Florida does: two wet seasons and the lot is a ten-foot wall of green that swallows the survey stakes. Owners stop driving past it. Neighbors start calling the city about it. And the longer it sits, the more it costs to take back.

The fix is quicker than most owners expect. A standard platted lot is usually one machine-day: the mulching head works corner to corner, the growth becomes a clean chip layer on the ground, and by the afternoon you can walk your property line for the first time in years.

Selling It, Building on It, or Keeping It

Each plan gets its own version of the job. Selling? A cleared lot photographs like real estate instead of jungle, shows its true size, and stops scaring buyers who cannot picture a house through the brush. Building? We open the ground so the surveyor and builder can actually work, and the same crew can come back for stumps and driveway prep when construction gets real.

And if you are just holding the lot, the first full clear is the expensive one. The mulch layer shades out fast regrowth, and an occasional maintenance pass keeps the lot at "mowable" forever — instead of another full jungle clear every few years.

Owners Who Live Nowhere Near Their Lot

A big share of vacant-lot owners here live out of county or out of state, and we are set up for exactly that. Call or text with the lot address and what you want; we look at it, send you the estimate, clear it on the scheduled day, and send photos of the finished ground. You never have to fly in to deal with a lot that got away from you.

You are dealing with the owners the whole way — Mike and Wilford, the father-and-son team out of Fort Pierce — and the reviews on our Google profile are built on exactly this kind of lot work: straight prices, done when we said, photographed when it is finished.

FAQ

Lot Clearing Questions, Answered

Common questions about lot clearing across the Treasure Coast & Palm Beach County. Don't see yours? Give us a call — we're happy to help.

Call (561) 308-9776

How much does it cost to clear a vacant lot on the Treasure Coast?
Density decides it more than size — a lightly overgrown quarter-acre and a solid pepper wall are different jobs. Text or call (561) 308-9776 with the address and we will get eyes on it and give you a free, specific number. Our pricing reputation is the review section.
Do I need to be there for the clearing?
No. Plenty of our lot owners are in another county or another state. We work from the address and your instructions, flag anything you tell us to keep, and send photos when the ground is open. The whole job can run by phone.
What happens to the trees on the lot?
Your call. Growth up to about 5 inches gets mulched in place; the oaks and palms worth keeping get flagged and cleared around so the lot ends up park-like instead of scalped. Select bigger trees can come down as part of the job where the plan needs it.
Will this satisfy the code violation letter I got?
Clearing the growth is exactly what those letters demand, and we clear lots to open, mowable ground with photos for your records. If you are working against a deadline, see our code violation cleanup page or just call — deadline jobs get moved up.
How long does a lot clearing take?
Most platted lots are a single day, heavy pepper walls sometimes two. Getting eyes on the lot usually happens within days of your call, and we schedule the machine shortly after. From first call to cleared ground is typically inside a couple of weeks.
